Grid

A 12 colum grid gives the most flexibility. We divided the grid in a 3:9 ratio with navigation and personal information on the left and organization of notes on the right, to have a clear optical separation.

UX/UI

We decided to create an interface that can be operated intuitively by simple user guidance such as the search box with a placeholder text and a visible input field. A clear interface marks the clickable areas with a highlight color which let’s the user focus on the their goals such as creating new notes and managing existing ones.

Paperwork

Paperwork is a HackerNews featured web app created by twostairs that gives its users the ability to organise, edit, share and store their personal notes in a secure and easy way even as a non-developer. Therefore making privacy accessible for everyone in a quick and easy way without learning to code.

After ueberweiss created the corporate identity for Paperwork in 2016, we were happy to participate in the creation of Paperwork 2.0 and help shape their design and user-interface. In 2020 Paperwork even contributed to the Arctic Code Vault.
